What you should know about Nevalea Alpacas
Alpacas originated from South America and are a member of the camelid family, the largest percentage coming from Peru and Chile. Alpacas have been valued for their soft luxurious fleeces for generations, indeed their fleece has been called the fibre of the gods’. Shearing is once a year, at Nevalea Alpacas, Neville shears our alpacas on a table. Animal Health remarkably disease free, require annual inoculations, toenail trimming as required, worming once or twice a year, and vitamin A, D E injection.

We started selling garments from out of a box, then Seville built the farm shop and we opened in May 2011. The Fresh Zealand bookings can come 12 months in advance, these often request morning teas or lunch. You are welcome to visit our farm, where we can face and answer your questions in person and disclose you our pretty alpacas.
